"From the Beginning" is a
Christian album with 10 songs describing the creation of heaven
and earth, Adam and Eve, the flood, at calvary (where Christ
gave his life to save us), how our new life begins, and the fact
that He hears us each time we pray. We will "never" believe any
of Satan's temptations because "God is always there" and He will
help us "find the way" to "that land beyond tomorrow". This
album has beautiful arrangements by Dino Zimmerman. Each song
has a different feel. Some strong with horns and many
instruments some simple and interesting with John Daniel Coe's
sincere strong voice and beautiful harmony. Some slow and heart
wrenching. Others fast and determined. Some unusual in melody
and rendition. It's wonderful when you have "found the way".
"that land beyond tomorrow" is very positive and beautiful. It
will be difficult to listen to without tears in your eyes. The
arrangement, music and lyrics are
perfect. Thanks to Dino Zimmerman for using his special talents to make "land beyond tomorrow" our best Christian album ever. Our singer "John Daniel Coe" began his career singing in church. His dad recalls how he began singing harmony parts at the age of three. Early musical influence led him to participate and excel in various school productions and talent shows. At age 14 he went on the road full time with a gospel group. He went from gospel to rock and roll to top 40 but finally focused all his talent on hie real love county music. John daniel quickly emerged as a compelling artist. His lyrics and emotional delivery reached out to touch his audiences. His music is fresh and sincere. In his own words he says, "the lyrics are about life and love. I just want to touch people. I sing about relationships to make people stop and think. To see how they can make life better and stronger". He recently signed an exclusive writing deal (christian) with a major gospel music publisher in Nashville. He along with his brother and father have been nominated (as project writers) for the past two years for a "dove" award.
